• The quaint shopping street in Wells, Staithe Street, are renowned for antique shops, booksellers and restaurants. There are also several mini-supermarkets catering for everyday needs.
• Shops, pubs and restaurants are within 300 yards.
• Within easy reach (e.g. Holt and Burnham Market) are situated some of the finest restaurants in Norfolk.
• Sandringham House, several National Trust properties, the Broads, bird reserves at Cley as well as the historic towns of Kings Lynn and Norwich, are within easy reach.
• Seal trips are available from nearby Morston or Blakeney (to Blakeney Point) to visit one of the largest seal colonies.
• There are two miniature railways in Wells and for steam enthusiasts there is the North Norfolk ‘Poppy’ railway line. Catch the narrow gauge railway to the famous village of Walsingham.
• Wonderful walks are available along the heritage coast footpaths as well as exploring the wide sandy beaches with their sand dunes and colourful beach huts.
